dd2 just had a trial piano lesson. The teacher said he only came because I happened to ring just when a new space opened up - he usually has a no under 8 rule. dd is 6 and he got as far as he could without a book in 10 mins and says she's got a knack - he's really keen to take her on.

ds is starting drumming lessons next week - wonder if he'll have the knack !

DS1 was measured for a violoin ats chool today which he is so excited about, he's been wanting to learn since he was about 3.

That's wonderful. My 2 started recently and they're 7. Sitting with the parent at home each day to practise makes a massive difference.
