Chuckle, chuckle.
After months of DH trying-not-to-be-patronising
'it'll be OK love, this school business isn't so important, we're the biggest influence on the kids anyway'...
DH has just (out of curiousity) checked out the local school league tables.
And come to find me this morning to say " how can they only get half the national average GCSE maths passes - how?". "How come in an area as densely populated as this, it seems like second choice secondary school is a considerable commute away?". "And why is there one primary school so, so far ahead of any other ones one their SAT results? And the rest falling year on year?".
Worry loves company, eh?
