yes. I could do anything I liked science, maths and humanities. I think my DD1 would thrive in a girls school.

Err, I went to a co-ed school and did anything I liked as well. Math, physics, chemistry, biology, physical education, etc.

Not sure if you're still wanting answers. Went to a Christian all-girls school (from a non-practicing family) and loved it. High performing school, close environment, really nurturing pre-school-year six and very challenging but supportive year 7- year 13.

I would absolutely send any daughters of my own to that school or a different all girls school. I think that it really benefitted me from year 4- year 9 which was when I was awkward around boys and being away from them was great for me. Some people say that co-ed is better because you learn to be around people of the opposite sex, but I think that learning to be around guys comes fairly naturally and it was easier to be in an all girls environment for those ages, for me.

My sister did not enjoy the social side of the school, and my mother in later life says she thinks my sister should have gone to the local co-ed state school, however they had a very poor academic record at the time and my sister is very bright but was exceptionally lazy so I think her schooling was a academic/social trade off. She is a very sensitive soul so I don't know if co-ed would have been any better.

My school was not very "bitchy" and I never missed having boys around. We did a few joint school trips with a local boys school and tbh I was always grateful to come back to the all-girls environment.

It depends on the school and the child, but I loved my single-sex education.
