Just wondering really, well and hoping and praying tbh.

My Dd's both had a wonderful reception teacher and classroom assitant and when Dd2 left her class we joked about there only being one left for her to have now (Ds) etc etc. Thing is, does she get any say in who she has or not ??

I would be distraught if he didn't get into her class.

Up until last night I assumed he probably would as she had Dd1 and Dd2 and it seems the same with other families, once she has one she then has the siblings, but one of the mums has been told her Ds is in her class and his sister wasn't in reception.

I know i am waffling but I really really want him to have this teacher.

He doesn't start until next Sept by the way.

In our school the teachers don't get any choice, and siblings don't necessarily follow.

So far ds1 and ds2 have had different teachers all the way, which is quite nice in a way, as the teacher doesn't have any pre-conceptions about how they will be.

Oh no really.

Will have to get the Dds to drop more hints LOL

It sounds like this is really important to you, so why don't you just say to the school that you would really like your DS in this teacher's class if at all possible. There will be lots of people who don't know the teachers and won't be bothered either way, so I don't see why the school wouldn't accommodate your request if they could - especially if you already have kids there.
