I wondered if anyone knew if the distance a school goes out in the first wave extends for second wave offers and how do you get considered for second wave. I ask because I am 0.1-0.2 miles out from historical first wave catchment offers for a secondary school I wish to apply for next year and trying to gauge my chances of being offered a place for my DD (it's a single sex school if that makes a difference). Any advice appreciated. For the last three years we would have been offered a place once based on 1st wave distances but would have been 0.1 and 0.2 miles too far for the other two years. Hope this makes sense. In not sure of the correct terminology. Thanks.

Hi
My daughter is in Year 9 now at Bullers and very happy. I'm afraid I don't know the difference in distance between initial letter and 2nd wave, but the school admissions team in Bromley would. Give them a ring, I can't think why they wouldn't give out this information. Slightly different, but when I rang Bexley admissions for distance on initial letter for gs in their area (in March), they give me the inf.
Good luck.
