Saw this in today's daily mail, imagine having CHris Martins Business Manager as one of the dads and you could win a private performance by Coldplay as a raffle prize! The best we could get was a football shirt signed by the team as one of the dads is a footballer.

have a look at this

I love doing the coconut shy but this year they aren't having one and because I am committeeaphobic, I've just found out I'm assigned to the bouncy inflatable slide

it makes me a bit mad to see out school struggling to make money for a nice playground etc and poncy schools being able to do this! grr

im doing facepainting! unfortunately i do not have any celebrity friends to raffle off.

I did the girls tombola last year, a good tip is to go to it in the last few mins when there are only a handful of tickets left and loads of prizes! I'm helping out next week and am hoping for the spin and win a bottle of alcohol - be interesting to see who the biggest alchie is!

What do you do with your kids when you work a stall? DD ran around with friends (whose parents kept a watchful eye), while I was in charge of the bouncy castle for 90 minutes. I missed out on doing lots of fun things with her....or at least watching her do lots of fun things. So, I helped out, but barely saw my child - not sure I'll be so quick to volunteer next year.
