Hall Grove Vs Lambrook / living in Sunningdale - advice please!

We are trying to decide on a school for our DTS and DD. We have visited HG and Lambrook and can't decide between them. We will be moving from North London and would like to live near a school so that our children can have local friends. We also need to live where there is a friendly mummy network and plenty to do as we don't know anyone in the the area and DD is only 6 months. We are currently looking at Sunningdale although I am concerned that it seems a but quiet! All advice gratefully received!

I don't know anything about Hall Grove but my DS will be going to Lambrook.

It kind of depends how close you think 'local' is! There is nowhere really cool to live within a mile of Lambrook. However, Lambrook has buses that run to all corners. Sod's law is that you buy a house in Winkfield Row and then your DC's best friend lives in Henley! We are moving a 5min drive from Lambrook so I fully expect this particular 'sod' to occur to us too!!

I would say the nicest place to live in Lambrook's radius is Windsor. There is a bus from Windsor and one from Eton.

If you really want fun place to live + walk to school maybe consider St George's Windsor?

Thanks Inclusionist, I hadn't thought about Windsor. Will take a look.

St George's doesn't have school buses. Vast majority of pupils come from Windsor so very local for playdates if you are also in Windsor.
