We liked the look of it, but would love to hear any experiences of it, in particular how sporty/religious it actually is.

Many thanks in advance

It is a Catholic prep school with strong links to Catholic public schools, strip out the Catholic connection and its results are good but nothing special and if I was a non Cathoic it wouldnt be my first choice in that area, sports are ok ,they play them but not really a sporty school,if I remember it has a very odd motto, but we arent Catholic if you are it might be a very understandable and sensible motto and a very good choice.

Thanks for that. We're not Catholic, but given that 60% of the pupils aren't, we didn't think it would be too much of a disadvantage.

What would be your first choice in the area, if you don't mind me asking? We're to the east of the school, and don't really want to travel into Bath just yet.

Oh, and DH's old school motto was 'Mediocria Firma' (now changed). so theirs isn't too bad in comparison Grin

Zombie thread ... But we are in similar position and any input is appreciated.

Tatler's review seems good but does not know much about the school.

OP here.

We didn't choose it in the end. And oddly enough, when DD started at her new school, she started alongside another pupil who had moved from there, and whose parents weren't happy with it at all.

Whereabouts are you?
