moving to London.Please any idea on good borough?

Hi there.I am moving house in LOndon wit my 2DC.Please i will appreciate you sharing with me ur thaught regarding a good borough where my children can grow happy,and has a good state schools.Happy New year to all of you:)

Any parameters at all? Do you work and if so, where is your office (thinking of commute)? What is your budget? Buying or renting? How old DCs? Primary or Secondary, or both, or are you thinking long-term? What's really important to you? Ease of access to central London or nice amenities locally?

There are many lovely places to live in London, just give us a bit more info.

You are going to need to give us a bit more info, particularly budget! Also where you/anyone else in your household will need to travel to for work. You could end up with a two hour commute just by picking the wrong side of town for the office...

Also, schools are very, very specific. Most boroughs have some good schools. But you may need to live on one or two specific roads to get in. For example, in my old house I lived less than half a mile from three good schools, but would not have got into any of them.

Hi.thanks for taking the time to replay .It is hole new begging for me and Dc.They are 6 and 3.and i am single mum now in last stage of my divorce.i will be most likely going to private rent .So it will be a new start for us and i have no family here in the UK.so it doesn't matter where i will be .That is why i am asking for ur opinion.Once again thank u very much.

How much do you have to spend? Good borough doesn't equal good schools. Good school equals high property prices in the nearby streets.
