State for us.
I don't want to start a debate (other threads for that!), just wondering where the percentage lies. tia

Fee paying for one DD and state at the moment for other DD.
Will move eldest DD back to fee paying though, state was a big mistake for us.

Well, they are at extortionately expensive international school now (fees not paid by us), but will be going to state school when we come back to UK this summer.

I want them to realise that not everyone lives in a chateau/has a swimming pool in their back garden/owns a pony/winters in Gstaad and summers in California, as per the majority of their friends.

But will probably be private for secondary education or another international school somewhere abroad. I've not really spent any time in UK in the past 20 years and am going there kicking and screaming now, so don't see us being there for more than a few years before I get itchy feet again.

State. It's very good and only 5-10 mins walk.

Am undecided on secondary though...

Berries · 09/04/2006 21:07

1 state (yr5) 1 private (yr4 - started in Jan)

aragon · 09/04/2006 21:08

State. The ones near here are good and in any case we can't afford private.

dinny · 09/04/2006 21:13

state. moved out of London to find good one.

dinny · 09/04/2006 21:13

not that there aren't good ones in London, I hasten to add (just we couldn't afford to live anywhere near a good one, lol)
