Hi its me again,Phone Ceredigion Coucil and they will send you information and details on ALL schools in the county-hope that helps

Hi Notasheep!

Its easy enough to get a list of schools on Upmystreet but it doesnt say what category. Phoning the council is a good idea. Thankyou

BTW My dh keeps referring to you as Qualitysheep :o

or you can google estyn's website and that will list all the counties schools, plus you can check the estyn report for each school.

Penweddig is Top Banana(from 11yrs) and Welsh

Its a state school but you wouldnt think so for one moment

Im feeling nervous atm that I wont get allocated any accom in or near Aber because I live in Carmarthenshire oot ceridigion atm which is annoying tbh.

Looking at the map Penweddig looks tiny compared to Penglais. Penglais appears to have a huge sports field too!

Penglais is MASSIVE!!!!!!!! Its the only English Senior School in Aber-which is off putting,e.g. no choice!

Get on every Acc list-people move here from everywhere

busybusybee · 27/03/2006 21:02

I was right about Penglais then!

If we do end up in Aber ds will be going to Penweddig in7 years time :)

Do you really think I might be allocated somewhere in Aber - even though i live in carmarthenshire. Im a bit picky too as I am desparate for a garden as DS NEEDS to run about outside! He has autistic traits. DS has only ever lived in flats, which means no garden - even though our current one is in a rural area

I want to grow flowers and sit in a deck chair in the summer [hopeful emotion]

I have no idea whether you will get allocated a place-all you can do is get on EVERY list now,and if its meant to be youll get a place-lots of luck involved i think.
Hopefully you will get more points with dss needs
