We were away on holiday and so missed the results day at school, we assumed that the results would come in the post the next day- on our return from holiday- however she has still not had any correspondence. she was given a log in for edexcel and have those results but not the aqa ones- any suggestions for us would be welcome. I have googled the question but found no answers.

ring the school and ask. most of them will have someone there to answer phones

Has your DD been in touch with the school? Often there is someone around even in the holidays. It may be that they posted any left over results yesterday by 2nd class post, so you wouldn't get them until Monday anyway. Otherwise it's a case of waiting for the start of term and getting your DD to pop in.

at the schools I have worked at - results don't get posted unless you leave a self addressed envelope. She will have to wait until there is someone in school

Did she request that they be posted?

It doesn't automatically happen anymore. You need to request it, and state that you will be away on results day, and they'll send them to the address that you specify.

If she did, I'm surprised they haven't been delivered by now. The school might be willing to speak to her over the phone in that case. If she didn't, it might be a case of waiting until Tuesday to go in and collect them if the school is open, or to arrange for them to be posted out.

Thank you so much for the quick reply- looks like we will have to try and call the school on Tuesday.

They probably won't give them over the phone either, and it should be your DD they give them to, not you, unless they have your DD's consent to hand them to you.
