We may be relocating to Devon with my husband working in Exeter. As we have family in Somerset we are keen to settle to the North or North East of Exeter. We have a young family and need advice on schools in the area! Can anyone help? Thanks

Can you be more specific about the are you are looking at? North of Exeter is quite a big area! There are very good schools in Taunton, I think. that's certainly commutable to Exeter - half an hour on the train, about the same driving probably. Crediton has QE secondary school, I think that's pretty popular. I don't know anything about the primary schools though. Other than that - there's Colyton obviously, certainly some kids from Somerset way do go there but I think it might be a bit of a schlep. There's a school bus goes over Cullompton way....
