Presumably for secondary ? St Bedes is not particularly selective or academic, but things could yet change in 10 or so years !

Are you talking about St. Bedes Prep school (nursery, pre-prep and prep)
I think looking for seniors at this time is very forward thinking for East Sussex.

Good prep schools are
St. Andrews (mixed)
Moira House (girls)

My best friend went to Bedes and so did all 3 of her siblings. Her youngest sister is still there and they all had an amazing time. All did very differently with her getting amazing grades and her bother completely flunking his a levels through no ones fault but his own.
The way she always describes it to me is it is the closest to a comp a private school could get. It’s very chill but lots more opportunities for sports and extra curricular plus small classes. She loved it.
