We are thinking of moving to the Yorkshire Coast (Dh's work).

Does anyone have any info or experience about these schools? Would be great to get some good mn insight.

Any insights good/bad/indifferent would be great.

TIA

Hi, no personal experience but my friend's DC is a boarder at Fyling Hall and they are now in the senior school. They have been impressed by the pastoral care and the academic progress their DC has made due to the small classes. It is a non selective school and they seem to get the best out of their pupils.

That is really reassuring goinggetstough - thank you. We need some pretty sensitive pastoral care plus one of our children is meant to be some sort of learning potential prodigy.

I'll admit to wondering if the school had much emphasis on actual academic achievement, so your pov is interesting.

Thank you!
