Here for The Paint Box

Any idea who the composer is for the chocolate song?

julienetmum · 23/01/2006 22:41

Its on page 4 by the way. Was it sheet music you were after or a backing track?

I know the apples are ripe one, we learned it in school! But I can't think of the rest of the words...

Cauliflowers fluffy, and cabbages green
Strawberries sweeter than any I've seen......
dumdedum
de dum
they all grow steadily day and night.
The apples are ripe etc.

Will look this out for you, it's usually sung at harvest fesivals

oo - when do you need it by? I'm sure DS's school has got the music on tape/cd for that as they sung it at harvest term and I'm sure they used a back CD rather than the piano.

not till a week tomorrow for rehersals I just like to stay ahead of the game and I thought it would be easy to listen in the car as a way of absorbing it if you know what I mean .

I'll have a word with them when I pick DS up from school tomorrow - I'm very good friends with one of the (very long standing) teaching assistants, who goes to our church, and get on pretty well with the headmistress (who also goes to our church). I'll see if they've got a spare 'copy' we can have/borrow.

Hi! Do you have the piano accompaniment? Apparently it's from a book called Harlequin
