When I was looking here last night to see what might be in store today there were a few threads but nothing definitive. DD (4) did the assessment for Ken Prep today so thought I'd share what she told me. I quote:
- We went round and talked to different teachers
- Each teacher did something different
- With one teacher we had to count bears, there were three bears
- And we built a tower with some blocks. I built houses, lots of houses. A town of houses. In fact they were flats, Mummy
- Then we did drawing and some girls did dressing up but I didn't. And there were some cars to play with
I would imagine given they were there for an hour they did more than just three rotations, but that's all I got!
She had a great time and came out with one of the best pictures she's ever done so I don't know if she got some coaching or her drawing skills have suddenly flowered without me noticing.
Other mothers who were there (DH was the only father and he left after we dropped her off) seemed lovely, made me sad we won't all get in!
