How can I set up a cheap website to sell tickets for a school event?

We are having a circus visit school next year and need to sell as many tickets as possible and have decided that a really simple website with a one-page "on-line" shop would be the easiest way to do it. We appreciate that we'll lose out to paypal fees but don't really want to lose out to too many other costs.

So what would be the easiest / cheapest way to do it?

Help!!!

Ooh, how easy is it to do this? I've tried googling but can't find anything. This sounds like a really good idea.

if your school will let you, their web master should be able to do it in half an hour.
set up a paypal account linked to the relevant bank account and then you'll just need a homepage link, a picture of the tickets and the relevant link

Alternatively look into Eventbrite

Yup,
that is COOL - will have to make note of that one !!

Fabulous, thanks!! We looked into Eventbrite and on an £8.50 ticket it was going to cost us £1.12 which is too much. So, the paypal option on a webpage is much better. Thankyou.
