Sign Welsh Assembly Petition to make free childcare for 3 year olds more accessible

I have raised a petition with the Welsh Assembly. As you might know all 3 year olds are entitled to up to 15 free hours of childcare a week (term time) but a lot of councils split this 2.5 hours a day over 5 days, making it inaccessible to working parents.

Please sign the petition here!

But if your children go to a registered nursery for their child care then the nursery just take it off your bill how is it inaccessible ?

when they don't allow that in most nurseries. I was given the grand choice of one nursery that the council would fund a place in for dd, and it was a nursery where a child had previously has sustained a serious injury due to staff negligence. Instead I had to wait for a school place that started in September, 7 months after her 3rd birthday. And we don't get 15 full hours a week either, and we are unable to top it up. The whole system in Wales is a farce!

Ah we must have been a different case as DD went to nursery in England even though we lived in wales sorry Sad
