He was on the programme today and yesterday.

I gather he is a considerable high-flyer who is due to fron Ofsted in January.

He certainly seemed to impress interviewer sarah Montague....the top female TODAY interviewer.

So when the Ofsted job kicks in I suppose we are going to hear a lot
of this "tough" headmaster.

Will he get on with the teachers?

He has a pretty impressive reputation, to be honest. I'd like to work for him!

Though I hear rumours that he has done a deal with one of the big educational publishers to pilot something to do with standardising the curriculum. This could be interesting.

I've worked for him. He's fab.

Yes, it will be interesting when Wilshaw gets the Ofsted job in january.

I remember Chris Woodhead in the job. He was controversial; but I cant
remember what it was all about.

I understand from the press that Mr Woodhead is very ill now. So we must wish him well.

UPDATE BBC Radio 5-Live.

Sir Wilshaw was on Victoria Darbyshire phone-in this morning (tuesday)
Victoria put him through a fairly tough interview. Thats her style. To be fair, she is good at it. (Could end up on TODAY or NEWSNIGHT>)
