Does anyone have a child at Stockport Grammar Junior school or have an experiences of the school. Anything you could tell me about it would be helpful x

We're looking at sending our eldest daughter to this school starting this Sept in the reception. We decided this really late and consequently when we all went to visit we only met the head and his secretary who seemed lovely.

Just wondered if anyone had any children here and could tell me their thoughts and feelings about the school and whether their children are happy.

Or if anyone knows anything about it, or attended the school, that too would be a great help.

Hi there, I've just been doing some research about SGJS and came across your post. Sorry that no one replied. I too am considering it for my twins, who are due to start at their local primary this September. I am having a look around this Friday. Did your daughter end up going and if so would you recommend it? The lady who runs their nursery has championed it but I wonder if it is worth the sacrifice to family lifestyle paying (we have 3)!!

It's probably the only school I would consider in Manchester area having experienced two of the all girls schools - my dd has friends in senior school there now and they are very happy. Good sport if you are interested in that and good academics. We moved out of the area but it would be my choice if we moved back!
