The Priory is an academy school and made up of four local schools, The Priory Witham, The Priory City and The Priory LSST and an infant school. I suspect that you are looking at The Priory LSST. My understanding it is non-selective, however there are a certain amount of places for yr 7 children who sit an internal exam. They also run masterclasses for children who will be applying. It has fantastic facilities and a very good ethos.

I thought The Priory was a specialist (SEN) school in Spalding.

apologies if I have confused the matter.

There is one in Grantham too (well 2 being merged into 1) ........just to confuse things further! it is run by the same team as the Lincoln schools. Appears to be going well so far.

The Priory IS an academy group in Lincoln, an academy school in Grantham AND a special school in Spalding, so it does depend on which one the original poster meant!
