Anyone with experience of Schule Schloss Salem

It is early days but we're considering this boarding school for ds when he's 13. It offers an English and/or German speaking programme and the choice of IB or Abitur. If anyone has any personal experience that would be great. Thanks.

I went there. But we're talking 15 years ago. It is a very well rounded programme and a beautiful setting with lots of opportunities for outdoor activities, volunteering with the fire and rescue, first aid, excellent academic and sporting facilities and as I'm sure you know it's possibly the best known private school in Germany. I would say however that there is an element within the school both parents and children who value money and possessions, and an amount of snobbery linked to this, though this is possibly the same with all private schools
