Hi, does anyone know where I can buy those big spongie letter sounds like oo, qu, ai, etc? They had them at my daughters school in reception and she loved them. She's now being home educated and I don't really want to ask the school. I think they are magnetic too. Smile

Have a google for a local education supplier, like YPO if you are in Yorkshire.

Thank you, (that was quick!) Smile

We don't live in yorkshire but I can google for our area. I found a sight once, but it seemed you had to be a school to buy things. It asked for the name of the school.

I think most will, but if you ring them and ask they will do small personal orders as well.

That's great. I'll have a look on google then. Thank you.

Try Smart Kids - they do a lot of the foam letters, and the various two-letter combinations are joined up, which is quite useful for teaching that they still make one sound.

I was just going to suggest these from smartkids I bought them to use in school.

OMG. An education thread that hasn't been spammed Shock

Yet.

Anyway have a look on amazon, there are loads of tempting things... Basket is full on mine! Including a full set of upper/lower case alphabet stamps, I think DD will love them :)
