I've been trying to get my tax credits sorted out as my son has started college.

Phoned last week, the girl I spoke to was great, gave her all the information told her my son was doing a NQ, the only problem was as his start date was yesterday she couldnt put a future date in the system and asked me to call back yestrday or today.

Called back today, got someone different and she asked me what course he was doing, NQ I said, what level is it? I kept telling her that it's a NQ (National Qualification) but thats not enough she needs to know what level?????

I've searched the SQA webiste and tried phoning the college but I'm getting nowhere

So, does anyone here know what this would be called in England? It's an electrical pre-apprentiship course he's doing.

Many thanks (hopefully)

NVQ (national vocational qualification) probably level 1 if he has just started! You would think that they should know this sort of stuff.
