Hi all, suppose I’m looking for clarity and to see if anyone is in a similar situation or even if I’m being unfair!

i have been with my partner for a few years now he has 1 son age 10 and I have 2 children boy and girl age 14 and 12

my partners son comes to stay every other weekend and there is also an argument over sleeping arrangements. But he demands that his son sleeps in someone’s bed or he’s not staying (FYI it’s my house) he moved in.

I tried to compromise and say let’s get bunk beds , he doesn’t want to do that , my son offered his really good fishing bed own pillow blanket etc to make him feel welcome can be put in any room of the house including bedrooms , again this isn’t good enough. He says my 2 children should share a bed so his son can have the other! Or I have to sleep on the sofa! If I say no to his son sleeping in my bed there is ww3 he says sleeping downstairs is out of the question as apparently that is cruel

am I being unreasonable I’m struggling to find a compromise

What was the agreement on the situation before he moved in? I also don’t think a ten year old should be on a camping bed.

At the time we had a pull out bed , over time I’ve suggested a bunk bed or my children stay out . Seems to be me making all the effort .
it’s not a camping bed it’s a 6ft Nash fishing bed (hard to explain unless you know what is is)
also to add his son is made up with the bed he said it’s the most comfiest thing ever ! He’s happy it just seems to be my partner that isn’t
