Hi everyone,

Before I get into a Google hole, doesn’t anyone have any recommendations of school clothes that are:

  • Made of natural fibres
  • not covered in Teflon etc
  • are good for slight children (drawstring would be amazing)

Thanks so much!

You can get 100% cotton trousers that are not covered in Teflon. It’s often for kids who have eczema.
You haven’t said if your child is a boy or girl but pinafores are good for slim girls.

Babipur……

Usual brands like Tu usually do 100% cotton school shirts and sometimes joggers/PE shorts. Everything else I would suggest Babipur.

Tui and Tesco do pure cotton polo shirts and John Lewis do pure cotton shirts/blouses to wear with a tie.

Tesco polo shirts are treated with Teflon ecoelite. As are the PE shirts. The specialist products from eco suppliers are prohibitively expensive for me so I'm considering just washing many times before use.. not very planet friendly of course, but not sure what the alternative is with a small budget
