Reusable nappy for swimming

We just started our cloth nappy journey this week, DD is 11 weeks old so it's very new to us. She is due to start swimming lessons this weekend and I'm wondering if I can use any of her cloth nappies as a swim nappy?

We have a few pocket nappies, a few all in 2s and one that is literally just a wrap with poppers for inserts but no soft material on the inside.

Can we use any of these for swimming? Obviously I wouldn't stuff them or add any inserts that would soak up the water but would I need to put anything else in them? Or is this a no go and I need a specific swim nappy?

That's great news, thank you!

I run a swim school - if you join a class they'd insist on your baby wearing a neoprene Happy Nappy but you can definitely wear a cloth one underneath?

Incidentally we're doing a trial with the local Nappy Library to lend the neoprene ones out but I'd imagine you could get one second hand through facebook groups etc?
