Making feedback private

Was wondering how do I make my feedback private, in the sense that I would want people to be able to look at my feedback but not the item that I have brought or sold. Have seen a few profiles where the items appear to be 'private'.Don't want to hide my feedback as then i wouldn't be able to sell anything. Thanks.

Hi Mummybear. I don't think that is an option you have as a buyer, only as a seller. As a seller I believe you can set the auction as a 'private listing', the result is that no details at all are shown about a bidder during the auction(except to the seller) and after the auction, you can't see what the item was. As a buyer, you don't have the ability to hide your purchases without hiding all the feedback as well.

Having said that, details of the item bought or sold disappear from your feedback after 90 days, but the actual feedback can still be viewed.
