Just won buggy, picking it up later this week. Seller wants paypal prior to collection. I'd really rather pay when we collect. What do you think? Do you think it'd be okay to offer to pay a deposit by paypal and rest when we get there. I can't imagine backing out of sale (unless not as described.) I just don't want to drive somewhere and they not be there. Am i too suspicious?

well, what does the auction say? if she hasn't offered cash on collection then i'd say you cna't relaly be pushy about it

you will get protection on paypal though? so if you dont get the item then do a dispute and should be given refund, so it may be safer?

I think that they have more to lose by accepting paypal then you do. If you pay and they arent there, then you will open a dispute and get a refund, as they will never be able to prove that you had it.

I didn't know that about being able to get a refund. Thanks for letting me know. Will paypal now then
