When selling on Ebay, do you pay Ebay when putting the post on or when the item/s sell? I want to sell some baby things but cant put money in bank till tomorrow so hoping it doesnt take money off till item sells if it does. TIA

Ebay send a monthly invoice, and they take the money when they do that. Not sure of the exact timing of it, but pretty sure it is on completion of the sale, not listing.

eBay charge on a monthly basis of what fees you've incurred in the last month. So it depends when you list as to how soon you have to pay. You can also pay your bill by paypal once you have funds in there.

No you pay ebay well afterwards, I have a invoice to pay today that is from items I sold months ago.

What happens is:

You sell the item to A person

A person paypals you the money

You take item to post office ( or they collect etc)

A few weeks later, ebay invoices you and you can pay this from your paypal account or on your card.
