not sure what to do now?

it could not be delivered to the address the buyer gave me and the redemption period expired so the Post office returned it to me

have contacted the buyer to say i am happy to re-post it and is the address correct? but had nothing back from them

they have paid for it, so it belongs to them, what next? do i contact ebay?

Did they pay by PayPal? If so then you can issue a refund.

This has happen to me. I emailed the buyer a few times, no response, after a couple of weeks I emailed again suggesting that if I did not hear from them by such date I would refund their money minus ebay fees and list again, if they still want it could they pay the postage again (postage was higher than value of item!) and I would post it. They replied straightaway, had forgotten they had bought it(!)paid extra postage and sent it again without problems. Not sure if it was the right thing to do according to ebay but solved the problem with great feedback in return! maybe you could suggest something similar?

I have had this happen to me (as a buyer) a few times because I buy a few things all at once and FORGET about them! Then if you don't get the slip from the postman you have nothing to trigger the memory.

I would just email saying if they want it you need to hear from them in 10 days or else you'll refund (less fees and postage) and relist it.
