I am totally baffled by this apparently missing payment

I've been away all week, and came back to realise that something had sold while I was away - it's my own fault,I thought the items had all ended. Sent email off to buyer asking if they still wanted it, apologised etc.
Anyway, there's no email from paypal saying they have paid, no email saying they ahve opened an item not received etc etc.
However, on the account page from ebay telling me they have bought the item is a link saying "claim your payment". However, when I go onto it it takes me to paypal and there is no record of the payment at all, yet it keeps telling me to calim the payment - how can I claim for something that's not there?

Ok it's telling me I need to sign up to paypal. I already am signed up

They've sent it to the wrong email address. You need to ask them to cancel the payment then send them a payment request

and now paypal are saying I have a premier account

This happened to me and it was because there was an out-of-date email address attached to my account. Basically, what ilove said.

Well that's what I looked at, but I ahve checked the listing and it defiantely is my current email address, and all the other payments are going through from things I sell!!!
Will contact buyer
