Buying DVD/ CDs from abroad on Ebay

Has anyone had any experience of buying DVDs from an international seller?

The DVD I am considering of purchasing is not available in the UK and there are copies in the US, Hong Kong and Malaysia. However I am nervous of it going wrong e.g. DVD being fake, having to wait a month only to be told that I have to pay £20 custom charges etc.

So basically I'm asking whether it is okay to buy DVDs from the US in your experience?

We've bought loads of DVDs from the US etc. I usually try and find a responsible retailer before buying and have not had problems with fakes.

The only think you may need to be careful of, is that your DVD player is set to play the same region DVDs as the DVD you buy.
