. What is wrong with some people.

\he sent me an email saying "I paid over the odds for the DVD and I expected to have it by now"

I haven't yet emailed him back. I started the DVD at a reasonable price, the fact he paid more than £11 for it is not my fault. I also stated on the listing that postage was "within 3 working days".

It was posted today, 2nd class recorded.

Last week got 2 similar emails from people expecting the items to arrive within 2/3 days, even if item sells late at night (Tuesday night, the email Thursday wanting to know why it's not arrived, as an example)

People are horrid aren't they?

I always send an email when it's posted with 'it will arrive in XX days (padding a day or two) by ' to head them off at the pass with their whinging. You can also add an exorbitant next day price as an option.

This is why I only buy now, from shops.

I replied to him with teh following email
"Hi there. The DVD was posted today, I stated on the listing that items would be posted within 3 working days. 3 working days from 11pm Friday night is Tuesday.
It was sent 2nd class (didn't mention the recorded bit) this morning"(yesterday)

He replied with
"I didn't pay for 2nd class delivery"

SO, I am temped to reply with "actually you didn't choose nay postage, as I was limtied to only chargin£1 for postage of DVD, therefore I feel it is up to me to choose which service I use"

I haven't sent it though, as I know full well that he will leave neg feedback

Sometimes I wonder what planet they are on...

I sold a Girl's Monsoon top on Sunday. Auction finished at 8.00pm. I shut the computer down around 11.00pm. When I got to work yesterday I found a request for an invoice for the top - from the USA. This is in spite of saying in my listing:

"I will be happy to send this item overseas - please contact me for the shipping cost before bidding."

So, yesterday evening I weighed the top in a jiffy bag to work out the Airmail price. Then found she had sent me yet another request for an invoice - with a note saying "I hope that we can finalize this sale."

I saw red and sent her a note with the invoice pointing out that there would not have been a delay if she had asked for the shipping cost before the auction finished.

She has not paid yet...... Hmmm!

Three working days from Friday 11pm is actually Wednesday

People are nuttier than a Snickers bar on ebay!

He's claiming now (see my other thread) that it arrived this morning (after me posting it at 4.35pm, 2nd class yesterday) and is all damaged
