Number of typical watchers and page views?

I'm still new to selling (but have been buying for years) but I recently sold an item which attracted 140 views and a dozen or so watchers. A current auction has now got 19 watchers (was 20).

Because I'm new to selling, I've got no idea how many watchers or page views a typical auction attracts - is there an average? Does it depend on the type of item being sold? Anything else?

Thanks!

I don't think that there is a typical number-it depends on the item. Most people don't bid straight away, but watch and bid at the last minute. You have to bear in mind that some watchers are just thinking of selling a similar item and want to see what it makes-or other reasons- and they are not going to bid.If no one is looking at it it may be an idea to review the listing so it will show up in searches.
