New Seller Advice Needed Please

Hi

I've got a few things to sell on ebay. Having only ever bought on ebay before so I could do with some advice.

I'll be selling a brand new pair of shoes (not in original box) and a few items of clothing ... nothing high end just better quality high street stuff i.e. white stuff not primark. All good condition but worn.

I've read the info on ebay but wondered if anyone out there has any tips for a first time seller?

Good pictures (in sunlight is best) with closeups of any defects. Detailed descriptions. Host pictures yourself (I use picasa, I hear photobucket is good) and use turbolister (although it hasn't worked for me for the last few days, but I think that is my computer).

Use all the space in the description, the search uses that so you need all the keywords you can.

Weigh the item and packaging and use the royal mail website to work out how much it will cost to post.
