WWYD - Sent 1st class but not recorded

Have just sold three items on ebay. I packaged them up and left DP strict instructions to send first class recorded. He sent two first class recorded, and one just first class. AHHHH

I'm happy to give a token refund of postage, but should I email before they have received to admit mistake and risk them saying they haven't received - or do nothing.

I would wait a week and then email them. Don't feel bad though - I have paid for first class delivery before and the person sent it second class- that was very cheeky. The recorded bit is for your protection not theirs so don't worry.
