taking 'buy it now' mid auction

hi, i'm a bit of a newbie at selling on ebay and I've had a potential buyer approach me asking if I'll take a 'buy now' price when I hadn't previously set one.

I'm happy to take the price they're offering but I wanted to check if it is ok for me to make this change mid-auction or if I'm breaking some kind of rule/being a little unethical etc.

also, assuming that it is ok, what's the best way to complete this transaction?

any advice appreciated!

have you already got bids? You can't do a BIN once bidding has started.

Otherwise, you should just be able to edit your listing to include a BIN and let the interested party know.

no bids yet - that all makes sense tho, thanks!
