Urgant advice

I sold a pushchair on e-bay 3 weeks ago, the person who bid (buy it now) arranged to pick it up the following weekend but didn't turn up, a few days latter i reported them by opening a dispute. anyway today i have a phone call from someone who could barely speak english saying they were on their way to pick up the pushchair and they will phone me again in 15 minutes when they are near my house, 1.5 hours later they phone back saying they are 15 minutes away (i think, very hard to understand his english). I'm at home on my own with the dd's and i am slightly worried that some man is coming to my house who can not speak english and should of bloody contacted me weeks ago.

I should have said no but it was hard to explain to him as he could not speak english very well(i think he was indian).

I should have told him to bog off shouldn't i?

Does this sound a bit dodgy to you?

Are they paying cash?

doesn't sound too dodgy, i think some people really just don't understand ebay. do you still have the pushchair? i'd just let them have it assuming they are paying cash.

They have just turned up.

2 very dodgy looking indian men in a big transit van, handed me the cash and took it away (didn't even look at it). Lets hope they have driven away.

It all seems a little odd, i checked out their feedback and all they buy is pushchairs (maybe they are selling them on somewhere) but it took them over 3 weeks (almost a month) to pick up. They could have contacted me weeks ago(when they were ment to pick it up) but they didn't bother.

oh well, i hope they leave good feedback, the pushchair wasn't in great condition and i am pleased to get rid.
