Buy it now or hold out with the auction??

My item has 42 watchers and 2 days to go. I've had a BIN offer of £40 which is WAYYYYYY more than I thought i'd get, but with that many watchers should I hold out. Will be most gutted if I go through with the auction and end up with a tenner.

WWYD??

What's the price of it now?

ConnorTraceptive · 08/04/2010 12:17

Have you got bids on it or is that the starting price?

tethersend · 08/04/2010 12:26

You can't add BIN if there are bids on the item...

ninedragons · 08/04/2010 12:32

Is it something unusual? Could you have missed that it is quite desirable?

That seems like quite a lot of watchers to me. I would probably let it run its course.

ConnorTraceptive · 08/04/2010 15:07

ah I thought you could add BIN even with bids, there are several bidders so I guess that ends that dilema!

It's obviously a lot more desirable than I thought! Was gonna car boot it for a fiver!

Let us know how much it sells for. Is it a garden one as with the better weather people seem to be buying garden toys now.

5inthebed · 08/04/2010 18:49

Keep the auction oing. SOme people don;t shop around, they just go straight to Ebay thinking it is the cheapest option.

Good luck selling it, hope it goes for somewhere near the £40 mark.

candyfluff · 08/04/2010 19:56

wow 45 watchers - id keep up with the auction - ones mans junk is another mans treasure

ninedragons · 09/04/2010 10:20

Do a search of completed items - it should show you if 40 quid is wildly out of line with what they've sold for previously.
