Hello,
I have an item where the buyer has asked for postage to Frrance. I was wondering do you post abroad and is it worth the hassel?

yes I have done, within the EU it's not too difficult to figure out the rates & delivery is usually reliable. To the USA or elsewhere gets a lot trickier and more expensive. Worth it to post to USA, but maybe not beyond.

Worth it to Europe, though I'd advice International Signed For which costs about £3.50 over and above the weight-price. Lots of stuff goes like a bomb in Europe, as I am discovering as we finally rid ourselves of Thomas Tank Tat.

posting worldwide is no more hassle than posting within the UK.
Look up the postage cost the same way as you would UK (on RM website) and insert cost in the listing. If you want signed for then put the cost in the listing (don't give an option). The costs are there up front and the buyer pays the postage so..... no probs at all.

I couldn't survive without my Australian buyers

Use this page to work out postage. Remember that you are not sending a letter, as "small packet" is cheaper!

You have to be a bit more accurate estimating final postage as the "bands" are smaller, but otherwise it is definitely worth the hassle. With the current exchange rate with the euro, our stuff is very competitively priced!
