Stupidly in rush of putting a lot of things for sale I forgot to put a reserve on something quite good which has now sold for 99p. The person has not paid yet on paypal but has asked about collection as was collection only. Have 2 good friends who are now pregnany and would obviously much rather give it to them than a stranger for 99p. Is there any gracious way of backing out of the deal, could ebay do anything? I don't sell or buy much on there so could survive without ebay if they did black list me. Thanks for your advice and will def not make same mistake again. The person has been nice enough to say they feel bad that I didn't get more. But I obviously feel worse!!! Am not rolling in it either, hence why selling stuff on ebay ratehr than giving away in first instance.

go in the help section on ebay to see how you withdraw the item. you can withdraw bids so i'm sure it can be done. you will prob get negative feedback but hey ho.
