Help with paypal please!!

Can someone give me some help please?!

When someone pays by paypal, do you have to do anything, or does the money just appear in your account?

Somebody has just paid for something, and my ebay page is telling me to claim my payment, but I'm just going round in circles, and not achieving much!

Yes, it's verified. The little shopping trolley has appeared on the "sold" page, with an egg timer (I think) next to it. It says payment has been initiated, and is being processed through PP.

It's so long since I sold anything, I've forgotten what I'm doing!

sorry to hijack, but this has just happened to me too - I have several items with an egg timer, so that's ok. I'll wait for it to clear, but one now cleared and ebay telling me to post it but no transaction showing in paypal?!

have you checked that your email addy is correct?

this ocurred to me, but teh email address showing on the transaction email from ebay is correct, the listings have been posted to the correct address, jsut no money showing up!

and you don't have a different email addy for paypal? or an old one? and all the spelling is correct?

I used to use a different one, but have updated paypal and ebay adn on paypal all my previous transactions show up using my new email as login, old email comes up as unrecognised. I have contacted a couple of buyers to find out what address they paid to, will post out anyway as not much money involved and not their fault.
