I have bought make up off e-bay and had no problem. My sister has as well.
Go for it.

I've bought lots of lipsticks off ebay. All have been fine. I think the thing to do is buy one that you know, as in the exact shade, as sometimes the pictures and names can be misleading. I once bought a "soft apricot" one. I looked liked I'd been tangoed!!
