Buy it now question from potential bidder

I am fairly new to selling on ebay and have received an e-mail from someone asking if I have a buy it now figure in mind for one of my items. It currently does not have any bids but has 9 watchers with 4 days left. Can I put forward a figure and accept an offer or do I have to leave it in the listing.
Thanks

If it already an open auction I don't think you can accept a buy it now unless you have already put this on there as a buy it now.

If this bidder wants it, they will have to bid. TBH I wouldn't go giving any information about how much you want. That is irrelevant really. It sounds like they may be trying to work 'outside' of ebay IYKWIM.

If you do have a BIN price in mind you could tell her it and ask her if she would be interested. If she is interested then, providing you have no bids in place you can add a BIN price

Thanks for that. I didn't realise that you could add a buy it now price. I have told them that I would prefer to leave it in the auction but its worth knowing for future sales.
Thanks again
