Hi

New to ebay, sold a dress, posted the next day by royal mail first class... buyer has now sent me a message saying item not received

I have a receipt but it's only a first class mail receipt, it proves nothing

It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since the sale date. Do I refund her the amount and if so do I refund the whole amount, ie for dress and postage?

Thanks

If you haven't got a trackable reciept I think you have to refund the full amount including postage, you can then claim back from Royal Mail.

Thanks for your help, I have told her I will refund if she hasn't received it by the weekend. Hope that's OK. Grr would have preferred to keep the dress or give to charity than give it to someone for free or some dodgy postal worker!
