Payment unclaimed.

I have just bought two items. The first payment has gone through fine. I have just noticed though that the second payment is on hold and as yet unclaimed, although it has left my account.What does this mean? I don t remember, as a buyer, ever having to claim a payment. I need this item to come quickly, as we are going on holiday on Friday. Help!

I had this problem as a seller last week. The system had used an ancient e-mail address of mine that I hadn't used for 6 years or more. It never occurred to me that ebay would link to that email but it did, and I was told to claim the payment, but obv. couldn't because I couldn't get at the defunct email account.
So I contacted the buyer, wheedled and said sorry I was so incredibly stupid and asked them to cancel the first payment and I would send a new request for the money.

I've now fixed the problem, though!
