Better to sell two matching items together or separately?

They're a pair of quite gorgeous lampshades. Is it better to sell them as a pair; or to sell them individually but at the same time; or consecutively (so one goes on sale as soon as the first sale closes)?

Would really appreciate any advice from any old eBay hands...

the only advice i could offer is to have a look at completed listings and see whether single or paired lamps sell better

As there will be some who prefer to buy a single and others paired, I would sell them as individual listings but cross-refer to the other and make it clear they are one of a paired set and offer postage discounts if they win both.

I will have them end within 10 minutes of each other.

Alternatively, you can put one or both on BIN and offer postage discounts.

Good advice -- thankyou.
