Item I sold not collected and now returned to me.

Buyer contacted me to say that when they went to collect the goods which I had sent recorded delivery, they had been sent back to me, as they waited a week before going to PO. I just wanted to check that they would have to pay the postage again before I send them back again as they have requested.

I think they should be expected to pay the next lot of postage, yes.

I had this over Christmas. I emailed my buyer and he sent the postage by paypal so I could send again.

I did the same thing not knowing that recorded delivery items are sent back after a week. Its perfectly reasonable to ask the buyer to pay for you to post it again, I didn't have a problem with this.

Yes I think your buyer has two choices: i) pay the postage to have it resent or, ii) have a refund FOR THE ITEM ONLY and mutually withdraw the item so you get your fees back.

how odd!! when did they actually purchase it? Mine wasn't collected but they did contact us eventually and i did re send it after they had re paid postage....you really are limited as to what you can do if they don't contact you?

They only have so long to do PP claim anyway (why i asked when they bought it) so it might not be able to bite you on the bum so to speak!!
